Our Mission

Supporting the gap between healthcare and what happens after death.

Starting with a conversation.

Why DeathCare BC?

The knowledge of a funeral director, without the obligation of the funeral home.

Objective expertise about the deathcare system accumulated through years of working within it, and thousands of hours spent with the bereaved and their dead.

In BC we have tremendous funeral providers, however the entirely privatized industry cannot hope to provide the full picture to each person who reaches them.

Understand the next stage, options, and rights of the deathcare consumer, before the moment of need.

Practical empowerment during our most vulnerable days.

About

  • DeathCare BC was created to bridge the education gap between end-of-life and after-death care.

Before making calls to every funeral home in your city, get in touch with us to learn about your options from an objective and knowledgable source.

We will take you through the processes, questions, and considerations unique to death services that will help you to make an informed decision. So that when you call the funeral home, you know what to ask.

  • Hello! I found my way to death work through my curiosity about life. Death and bereavement always struck me as hidden and little understood.

Over the years I have continued to hone my knowledge through courses, practical work, and engagement with my community.

I am an avid reader of fiction, lover of fantasy, traveller, and passionate liver of life.
